I started making two of these three quilts last year. I had planned to deliver them to new babies which were expected by two of Alessandro's students: Roberta and Irene. Since that time, another new baby is soon to arrive. Marta in Cremona is expecting a girl.
The quilts (copertine) are now packed away in my suitcase. Can't wait to get to Italy -- this week!
